Project 2: Spreadsheet for computer system budget

You should complete the lesson Advanced Techniques before doing this assignment.

Create an Alice3 world with any scene and objects you want. Your movie should use at least 3 of the advanced techniques that you learned in this lesson. You may include any other features to make it interesting.

Examples

You can create some very interesting movies using these techniques. Use your imagination!

• A shark swims from one cave to another with a fish always just ahead of it.
• A penguin swims with a fish in its mouth. It moves back and forth between two markers.
• A pixie holds a wand and flies from one part of a scene to another.
• Sounds accompany the say commands.

1. Save the Alice3 project as LastName_FirstName_advanced.a3p. For example Mary_Smith_advanced.a3p
2. Create an mp4 of the movie to post in this weeks discussion.
3. Submit the LastName_FirstName_advanced.a3p file in assignments.

The following are requirements:

If any of these requirements are not met, the score will be 0.

The program is an Alice a3p file.
The program opens.

If the requirements are met, the grade is as follows:

Your program has a comment at the top of myFirstMethod with your name and description of program.	3
You have a comment for each procedure or block of code telling what takes place.	3
myFirstMethod does not have much code except to call procedures and functions.	6
The procedures and functions use parameters rather than constants.	6
You have used at least 3 different control structures to create an interesting movie.	6
You use at least one marker.	5
You use at least 1 vehicle. Please note: a vehicle is a relationship in Alice. It does not mean adding something that humans call a vehicle.	5
You play at least 1 sound.	5
You have used either a random number or as seen by.	5
You have at least 8 objects to create a scene with some theme.	6

Check

If you do not receive a perfect score you may resubmit it as long as it is resubmitted within 3 days.
