This is an optional assignment that can make up for a bad grade on another project. The lowest project grade will be dropped.

You should complete the lesson Events in Alice 3 before doing this assignment.

Create an Alice3 world with any scene and objects you want. If you will have the user navigate a character in the final project, you may use that.
Your movie must have event listeners to let the user control the action. You may include any other features to make it interesting.

Examples

You can create some very interesting movies using these techniques. Use your imagination!

• The user moves a shark to chase and catch fish. Add points when the shark catches a fish, deduct points if he rams into something else
• Create a choose your own adventure type story as part of the final project.
• The user guides Hansel to the witches house.

1. Create an mp4 for the discussion.
2. Save the program as LastName_FirstName_events.a3p and submit in Blackboard under assignments.
3. Create an mp4 of the movie to post in this weeks discussion.
4. Submit the LastName_FirstName_events.a3p file in assignments.

The following are requirements:

If any of these requirements are not met, the score will be 0.

The program is an Alice a3p file.
The program opens.
The program must have events.

If the requirements are met, the grade is as follows:

Your program has a comment at the top of myFirstMethod with your name and description of program.	3
You have a comment for each procedure or block of code telling what takes place.	3
myFirstMethod does not have much code except to call procedures and functions.	6
The procedures and functions use parameters rather than constants.	6
You have at least one 'click' event to create an interactive movie.	6
You have one event that lets the user move a character.	6
You have at least 1 sound that is played for an event.	5
You have used at least 1 other event to create an interactive movie.	5
You have used two additional features such as random number, as seen by, markers or vehicles to show your skill with Alice.	5
You have at least 8 objects to create a scene with some theme.	5

If you do not receive a perfect score you may resubmit it as long as it is resubmitted within 3 days.
