Classroom Conduct
Students should refer to the current Student Handbook
for the official wording to all academic, classroom, and college wide policies.
Attendance: Students are
expected to attend all class sessions. In the case of absence, it is the
student's responsibility to obtain class notes from a classmate or from the
web site, and copies of any handouts. Withdrawal from this course is the
student's responsibility.
Academic Honesty: Students
are expected to complete assignments, projects, and exams without copying
any part. Students should refer to "Academic Dishonesty and Misconduct" in
the student handbook.
Classroom Conduct: Private
conversations should cease when the lecture begins. All cell phones should
be turned off during class. No ringing of a cell phone should occur. Students
may not use the computers in the classroom for any work unless specifically
instructed to do so. Headphones are not permitted during class. Students
should refer to "Classroom Behavior" in the student handbook.
Students are expected to come to class prepared! This
means that you have read the assigned chapter, answered any short answer
questions in the chapter, and have material for taking notes
with you
